Komischer Eingang is a duet by Ayara Hernández Holz and Felix Marchand. In this performance they work on a dance that emerge from the encounter of their bodies with the body of the audience and the specific space where the performance takes place.
Their collaboration expands everyday movements and situations, exploring how each one gathers strength and affects the here and now. The dance highlights the moments where the intangible becomes matter, which in turn opens the door to absurdity. What if the room starts to shake or jumo or spin around?
komischer Eingang deals with the poetics of the space. Ayara and Felix are twisting, touching and testing the materiality of the place in order to fall into the unknown. So that a room of and for imagination can be open.
Komischer Eingang creates small events that are constantly shifting from sensorial to pictorial images. They invite the audience not just to encounter different spheres, but also allows different readings of what one see.
Their bodies shake, turn, fall, enter in different states of instability where their movements and the space can not longer be fixed by means .Instability is seen as a possibility, as a space that opens up a potential to unfold unpredictable events.
