Retrato de un monstruo es una obra de cuerpos sin cuerpos, de hombres-bicho que se mueven en una jungla de sonidos, objetos y otros seres que se atraviesan sin acuerdo, sin contrato. Donde existe una tensión constante entre ser un cuerpo, tener un cuerpo e inventar un cuerpo; entre lo que se muestra, lo que se esconde y lo que está a punto de aparecer. En esta obra se trabaja en crear una convivencia opaca entre los performers, la escenografía, la luz y el sonido, cada uno de estos elementos tiene una lógica propia, cohabita con los otros sin armonía, desde sus diferencias.

La versión cero de este trabajo fue presentado en el Ciclo Montevideo Danza en abril de 2015.

Portrait of a monster is a performance of bug-men who move around in a jungle of sounds, objects and other beings that interfere with one another without agreement. In it, a constant tension exists between being a body, having a body and inventing a body; between what is shown, what is hidden and what is about to appear; what is real and what is fiction. In this show the performers, the set, the lights and the sound have their own logic and cohabit with the others without harmony and through their differences.

The edition 0 of this work was presented in Montevideo, Uruguay in Teatro Solis in May of 2015.
