Somatic practice in a phantasmagorical “virtual” dimension

This research follows the question: how somatic practice can affect the experience of our bodies in virtual spaces?. Through the pandemic regulation I was force to translate my teaching-practice for a screen. This created a big interest in the relation between bodily practice and virtuality. I want to use the concept of the „mirror box“, a therapy method for phantom pain, to create a device that actually generate a „phantom“ somatic experience through a mobile screen.

This research took place during the months April and May.
